The Wellington based Ndoro Stud will be offering seven yearlings at the 2018 Cape Yearling Sale.
One of South Africa’s best value for money sales, the Cape Sale will, for a second year running, be held at the lavish Mistico Equestrian Centre in Paarl.

Ndoro’s draft contains lots by such exciting young sires as Crusade, Jackson, and Master Of My Fate, as well as more established sires as Ashaawes , Count Dubois and Great Britain.

First on offer is lot 1, a colt by dual Canadian Champion Marchfield out of a three time winning half-sister to a G1 performer in Brazil.

Recently represented by his first stakes winner, G1 Middle Park Stakes winner Crusade has a bay colt (Lot 21) out of a four time winning half-sister to G3 two-year-old Miracle Rising. This colt, closely inbred to champion sire Storm Cat, is from the same family as G1 winning 2yo Silver Arc –so he should come to hand early!

Proven sire of champions Count Dubois has a three-parts sister (Lot 48) to Listed Irridescence Stakes winner Anglet on sale, while the regally bred Great Britain has a smart filly (Lot 56) on offer, whose third dam is Irish G3 winning two-year-old Air Of Distinction.

Dynasty’s triple G1 winning son Jackson, whose first yearlings made up to R2 000 000, has a colt (Lot 57) is out of a winning daughter of G1 Cape Fillies Guineas/ G1 Paddock Stakes champ Shepherd’s Moon, while Ashaawes, sire of, among others, the ever game and durable Sanshaawes, is the sire of a bay colt whose winning Jallad dam is a half-sister to G2 winner Milton. The latter showed his class when beating subsequent G1 Sun Met runner up Last Winter when victorious in the G2 Premier Trophy in 2017.

Another G2 Premier Trophy winner, Master Of My Fate, has made a smashing start with his first runners including two smart juvenile winners this season. The son of Jet Master has a single lot in the Ndoro draft –a filly (Lot 87) out of a winning half-sister to six time stakes winner Grandalea, from the family of Equus Champion, and young KZN sire, Capetown Noir.
