The highly successful Danika Stud, whose past stars include Equus Champion Kings Gambit, G1 winners Lady Brompton and Happy Landing, and two-year-old star Kochka, will be represented by a trio of high class fillies at the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
First of the Danika Stud on offer is  Arctic Princess (Lot 18), a daughter of multiple sprint champion and Leading First Crop Sire What A Winter. This filly, a half-sister to the winning Henry Tudor, is out of a stakes placed winner of six-who is very closely related to former G1 J&B Met winner Alastor.

Arctic Princess’ dam is also a ½ sister to 11 time G3 winner National Flame, and to the dam of this season’s outstanding 3yo Eyes Wide Open.

Second of the Danika draft on offer is Zodiac Princess (Lot 329), a daughter of outstanding filly sire Elusive Fort. Zodiac Princess is herself a half-sister to the Danika Stud bred Zouaves, as well as to Zalika, third on her first two outings.

She is out of a winning Jallad ½ sister to UAE 2000 Guineas runner up Zanzamar and to Ziparana –who ran second to Equus Champion Soft Falling Rain in the G1 SA Nursery.
This is also the family of French 1000 Guineas winner Zalaiyka.

Last, but by no means least, in the Danika draft is Miss Jacksonville (Lot 471). This filly is a daughter of triple G1 winner Jackson and she is a ½ sister to the very smart winner Pen-Chan. Miss Jacksonville’s winning dam is a ¾ sister to the dam of graded stakes winning speedsters Magico and Magical Wonderland.
The farm has been enjoying plenty of success of late, with recent high class performers bred by Danika including the very talented Zouaves, who has banked nearly R500 000 in earnings!.

South Africa’s premier yearling sale, the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale will take place at the TBA complex in Germiston from April 24-26th.
