The Robertson based Millstream Farm will be offering five classy yearlings at the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale at the end of April.

Remarkably, all five of the Millstream National draft are sired by G1 winners and or official champions.

Former G1 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate winner, and red-hot stallion, Gimmethegreenlight, has two fillies in the draft.  They include a filly (Lot 361) whose winning Tale Of The Cat sired dam is a half-sister to six time New Zealand stakes winner Moveover. This is the same family as New Zealand Horse Of The Year Uncle Remus, among others.

Gimmethegreenlight, South Africa’s Leading First Crop Sire in 2015-2016, is also responsible for a filly (Lot 485), whose dam is a four time winning daughter of champion Australian sire, and proven G1 broodmare sire, Fastnet Rock. This filly’s dam is very closely related to G1 Hong Kong Mile hero The Duke, who shares his sire Danehill with Fastnet Rock. This is the same family as G1 King’s Stand Stakes winner Sayf El Arab.

Triple G1 winner, and outstanding filly sire, Elusive Fort is the sire of a filly (Lot 354), whose Syringa Handicap placed dam is an own sister to useful stakes performer Count Tassilo.  Second dam is five time stakes winner Light Fandango, and this is the same family as G1 filly Jet Aglow.

Silvano sired Equus Champion Vercingetorix is represented by a first crop colt (Lot 421) whose dam is the Al Mufti sired G1 Golden Slipper winner Gilded Minaret. This colt is bred on a similar cross to the Silvano sired G1 winners Al Sahem, Bold Silvano and Kings Gambit.

Former Irish Champion and G1 National Stakes winner Pathfork has a colt (Lot 473) on sale whose stakes placed, four time winning dam is a daughter of champion sire and exceptional broodmare sire Royal Academy and his winning granddam is a Green Desert half-sister to high-class Japanese galloper Furioso. This is the same family as outstanding international stars Generous, Imagine, Triptych and Treve.
