Ndoro Stud will be offering four high quality yearlings at next week’s Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
Cartier Champion Duke Of Marmalade, the sire of more than 50 stakes horses worldwide, is represented in this draft by a colt (Lot 111), whose dam is a winning half-sister to Oaks winner Carolina Cherry (dam of Triple Tiara winning Equus Champion Cherry On The Top).

This is the same family as G1 winners Divine Jury, Martial Eagle and Royal Fantasy, as well as current high class gallopers Simply Royal and Royal Crusade.
Travers Stakes winner Flower Alley, the only horse ever to come to stud in South Africa having sired a Kentucky Derby winner, has a filly (Lot 476) on offer, whose seven winning siblings include high class 2yo Carlito Brigante and eight time winner Donnie Brasco.  This filly’s second dam is Golden Slipper winner Magnificent Miss.
Successful sire Philanthropist, whose numerous high class runners include current Hong Kong sensation Singapore Sling, is the sire of a colt (Lot 264), who is out of a winning Silvano half-sister to 3 stakes horses including Mauritian star Cormorant Pass. This colt’s third dam is G1 winner Saintly Lady –also ancestress of R2 million plus earner Safe Harbour. The famous Sister Sublime family!

Equus Champion Soft Falling Rain’s first yearlings have already made a big impression in the South African sales ring. The former G1 SA Nursery winner is the sire of a filly (Lot 330), whose three time Western Winter sired dam is a sister in blood to Horse Of The Year Yard-Arm. This is also the family of Triple Crown winner Abashiri.

The 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale is due to commence at the TBA complex in Germiston on April 24th and will end on April 26th.
