Cape farm The Alchemy will be offering eight well related yearlings (one as agent) at the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
The draft includes yearlings by such popular stallions as Captain Al, Dynasty, Elusive Fort, Master Of My Fate and Twice Over –and promises to have something for every discerning buyer.
Champion sire Captain Al has one lot in the draft, and this is a filly (Lot 141) out of Cape Fillies Guineas second Empress Of Ozz. By the same filly as stand out racemares All Is Secret, Cloth Of Cloud and Carry On Alice, she is a half-sister to five winners-notably G2 Joburg Spring F/M Challenge winner Lazer Star.
Four times Equus Outstanding Stallion Dynasty has an exceptionally well bred filly (Lot 60) in the form of Tel Aviv. A half-sister to a winner, Tel Aviv is out of a Peintre Celebre half-sister to G3 winner Mahalia and to the dam of major international G1 winners Most Improved and Ectot. This filly, whose second and third dams are by Danehill and Mill Reef, is a direct descendant of lightning fast racemare, and influential broodmare, Myrobella.

European champion and red hot young sire Twice Over has an unnamed half-brother (Lot 51) to 5 winners, including G2 winners Straight Set and Unparalled, while fellow champion Vercingetorix is represented by a colt (Lot 145) whose three winning half-siblings include G1 Premier’s Champion Stakes winner Exhilaration.

Silvano son Vercingetorix is also responsible for a filly (Lot 449)  out of a Jallad half-sister to Equus Champion Aslan. Both Aslan and Vercingetorix are sons of Silvano, which makes this filly very closely related indeed to the dual G1 winning Aslan.

Leading young stallion Master Of My Fate has two in The Alchemy’s draft. He is the sire of a half-brother (Lot 173) to 3 winners including stakes performer King Of Indians. This colt is from the same family as multiple G1 winning champion Yorker, who shares his sire, Jet Master, with Master Of My Fate.

Master Of My Fate is also sire of a classically bred filly (Lot 253), whose dam is a half-sister to the stakes placed dam of multiple G1 winner Captain America.

Another leading young sire represented in this draft is Equus Champion Elusive Fort. He is responsible for a filly (Lot 358) whose winning dam is a half-sister to G3 winning filly Laser Fan. This is the same family as G1 winning racemares Nobely Born and Legally Blonde.

The National Sale takes place in Germiston from April 24th to 26th, and the sale will be streamed live.
