Graduates of the 2017 KZN Yearling Sale have already reaped considerable success this season, with the KZN Sale having yielded the likes of brilliant Strelitzia Stakes winner Inverroche and other winners such as SA Nursery fifth In Cahoots, and eye catching recent winner Di Me.
Another potentially very smart performer sold off the KZN Sale of 2017 is Pathfork filly, Purest Bliss.
That Glen Kotzen trained two-year-old, who had won a barrier trial previously, caught the eye when beating winners by a length and a half, in a juvenile plate over 1200m at Scottsville on Wednesday, and this G1 Allan Robertson Championship entered filly looks well above average.

Purest Bliss, a R70 000 buy from the KZN Sale, races for Messrs Engelbrecht, Govender & Preggie Somasundram, and was bred by Highlands Stud part of Ridgemont.
By Highlands Stud’s increasingly successful sire Pathfork, Purest Bliss is one of five winners produced by Western Winter’s Listed Lady’s Pendant winning daughter Snow Angel.  This is the same family as Horse Of The Year and G1 sire Horse Chestnut, as well as fellow Equus Champion Monyela.
Purest Bliss has a Jackson half-sister (Lot 34) on offer at the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale, while her G1 winning sire Pathfork will be represented by seven high class lots at the same sale.
