Rennie Price’s Wicklow Stud will be offering a quality quartet at the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale.
One of South Africa’s best value for money thoroughbred auctions, the KZN Sale will take place at the Sibaya Entertainment World on July 5th and 6th.

First of the Wicklow draft on offer is a filly (Lot 69) by the name of Mine All Mine.  A daughter of July winner and emerging sire Bold Silvano, Mine All Mine is a half-sister to four winners, and is out of a winning Caesour half-sister to G3 performer Farolito. This is the great Drohsky family, with Mine All Mine’s immediate relatives including champion sprinter Senor Santa and former top class KZN Sale graduate Al Mariachi. The latter, who cost just R70 000 at the 2016 sale, has banked nearly R1 000 000 with his wins including the G3 Umkhomazi Stakes and the KZN Yearling Sale Million.
West Fort (Lot 171) is the son of the successful sire Mambo In Seattle, whose outstanding daughter Same Jurisdiction was a R270 000 buy from the 2013 KZN Yearling Sale. This colt, whose dam is closely related to top class broodmares Justthewayyouare and Secret Heart and Derby hero Superwood, is a half or full brother to 3 winners including In Full Flight Handicap second Purple Tractor.

Wicklow are also offering an unnamed colt (Lot 222) by red-hot sire and G1 winner Querari. This colt, bred on the same cross as stakes winner Maximizer, is out of a full sister to talented sprinter Los Colmos and hails from the same family as German champion Lomitas –whose champion son Silvano is damsire of high class Querari runners Wonderwall, Joking and Cosmic Light.
Dynasty’s triple G1 winning son Jackson has made a tremendous start with his first 2yo this season and he is represented in the Wicklow draft by Rich The Master (Lot 243). This colt, a half-brother to a 4 time winner, is out of a winning Western Winter half-sister to stakes winner and G1 performer Allied Prospect and second dam is a half-sister to game front running G1 performer Great World.
