Dr Neil and Lyth Orford’s Bosworth Stud, breeders of Equus Champion and 2013 Vodacom Durban July winner Heavy Metal, will be offering nine lots at August’s National Two Year Old Sale.

Stalwart supporters of the Two Year Old Sale, Bosworth’s draft includes two-year-olds from the families of such notable G1 winners and or champions as Variety Club, Secret Rites, St Just, Topa Inca, Urabamba, Juxtapose and Eldoriza.

Proven G1 sire Mambo In Seattle is the sire of a filly (Lot 81) whose winning Silvano sired dam is a half-sister to G2 Senor Santa winner Dollar Dazzler, while the filly (Lot 109) by multiple Equus Champion and hot sire What A Winter is out of a Fort Wood daughter of the top-class racemare Cholula.

Equus Champion and triple G1 winner Captain Of All is represented in the Bosworth draft by a filly (Lot 153) whose dam is a winning own sister to four time stakes winner Atlantic Inn, this filly’s third dam is multiple G1 winner St Just.

Well bred Jet Master son Skitt Skizzle, a half-brother to G1 winner Zeeno, has three two-year-olds in the Bosworth draft. They include a filly (Lot 3) from the family of G1 SA Classic winner Topa Inca and G1 SA Fillies Classic victress Urabamba, and a colt (Lot 259) whose granddam is Garden Province Stakes second Angel Flight –a full sister to brilliant 2yo Fun Fly.

Dynastic Rule is another well bred sire with offspring in this draft, and the son of Dynasty’s pair include a colt (Lot 266) whose winning dam is a sister to Angel Flight and Fun Fly, and an intriguingly bred colt (Lot 305) whose dam is a half-sister to G2 winner Cholula –dam of Dynastic Rule himself.

Gold Medallion winner and sire Seventh Rock is the final stallion represented in this draft. He has a filly (Lot 151) out of the above mentioned Angel Flight,  and this filly’s numerous high class relatives include dual Horse Of The Year and Champions Mile winner Variety Club, as well as such G1 winners as Novenna and Secret Rites.
