Former G1 King’s Bishop Stakes winner Visionaire dominates the catalogue for the 2018 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale, due to be held in Germiston on November 4th.

The chestnut son of Grand Slam, who was South Africa’s Champion First Crop Sire in 2014-2015 and Champion Second Season Sire a year later, has 34 two-year-olds on offer at the Ready To Run –and they should prove hugely popular with discerning buyers.

A proven high class sire, Visionaire’s first three South African crops produced a pair of Fillies Guineas winners in Heaps Of Fun and Takingthepeace respectively, with the latter going on to land the G1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic as well. Currently one of the pin-up horses on the local track, four-year-old Takingthepeace, who has won or placed in nine of 11 races, has already banked over R1.4 million in prize money.

Her G1 winning sire Visionaire, who was recently represented by a trio of winners on Saturday past, is also responsible for the graded stakes winners Africa Rising, Royal Purse, and The Thinker, G1 filly Visuality, star polytrack galloper Breakfast Club, and R690 000 plus earner Lala.
