Vanree Stud, as agent, will offering seven quality lots at the 2018 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale next month.
The dominant feature of the draft is the influence of Horse Of The Year and seven times champion sire Jet Master, whose sons are responsible for five of the seven two-year-olds in the Vanree consignment.

Jet Master’s Premier Trophy/Peninsula Handicap winning son Master Of My Fate, South Africa’s Leading First Crop Sire by winners in 2017-2018, is represented here by Surfin’ Africa (Lot 10). This well related colt is out of a winning full sister to G2 Premier Trophy winning millionaire Surfin’ USA and second dam is a four time winning daughter of highly successful speed sire Golden Thatch.

Vanree resident sire, Jet Master’s high class sprinting son Divine Jet, has four members of his first crop in this draft.  A half-brother to short lived SA Classic hero Divine Jury, Divine Jet’s draft includes Fantasy Of Light (Lot 9), a filly whose second dam is a sister to multiple champion sprinter J J The Jet Plane and Kings Cup hero Jet Legend (with the pair, like Divine Jet, being sired by Jet Master).

Other intriguing lots in the draft by Divine Jet include Xtreme Air (Lot 51), a filly whose winning dam is a half-sister to Merchants runner up Captain Harry, and Fairy Woman (Lot 80). The latter, whose dam is a four time winning ¾ sister to stakes performer Winter Watch, hails from the same family as Equus Champions Celtic Grove and Marinaresco.

Last of the Divine Jets to be sold at this year’s Ready To Run Sale is Jettin High (Lot 111), with this colt having been produced by a three time winning half-sister to Strelitzia Stakes winner and good producer Elegant Blush.
Italian G1 winner and consistently successful sire Querari has two lots in this draft, with the Querari pair consisting of two well-bred sorts in the form of Scent Of Rain (Lot 11) and Zulu Warrior (Lot 28). The former is a filly from the same family as Zabeel Mile hero Janoobi and the promising Silver Maple, while Zulu Warrior is a Querari half-brother to the very useful Ali Bon Dubai and he is out of a half-sister to Champions Cup winner James Jaguar.
The Ready To Run Sale will take place at the TBA complex in Germiston on November 4th, with the complex also due to hold a mixed sale on the same day.
