Vaughan Koster’s Cheveley Stud will be offering four high quality yearlings at the 2019 Cape Yearling Sale, set to take place at the Mistico Equestrian Centre on March 17th.

The Ceres farm, whose recent star graduates include such champions as Legislate and Bela-Bela, as well as multiple G1 winner Snowdance, will be offering lots by the likes of Elusive Fort, Legislate and two by resident stallion Wylie Hall.

The latter, a multiple G1 winning son of legendary Australian sire Redoute’s Choice, got off to the perfect start as a stallion when his very first runner, Wily Lass, won on debut!

First up is the unnamed Wylie Hall colt (Lot 44) whose dam is a half-sister to Winter Oaks winner Rush For John.
The colt’s second dam, the Elliodor sired four time winner Siena, is in turn, a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Roman Charger.

Wylie Hall is also represented in this draft by a colt (Lot 132) whose dam is a half-sister to G2 Greyville 1900 hero Monet.

The Cheveley bred Horse Of The Year Legislate, now standing at Cheveley, has one member of his first crop in the draft –a colt (Lot 112) whose five time winning dam is an own sister to G1 SA Fillies Sprint runner up Maelstrom, while champion and proven G1 sire Elusive Fort is represented in the Cheveley draft by a colt (Lot 54) whose dam is a half-sister to speedy In Full Flight Handicap winner Cape Royal from a top class international family.
