Long time vendors, and regular producer of high class racehorses, Riverton Stud will be offering three quality lots at March’s Cape Yearling Sale.

Riverton have a long and impressive record of breeding high class racehorses- from Champion Sprinter Captain Of All to Cape Guineas winner Domino Man, the Robertson farm regularly comes up with high class performers.
The latest high class gallopers bred at Riverton include R4 million plus earner Cirillo, dual G3 winner Gimme One Night and the very exciting filly Cousin Liz.

The latter, a R2 900 000 buy from the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale, made an eye catching debut recently when romping home over 1000m at Kenilworth for trainer Candice Bass-Robinson and owner Mario Ferreira.

Riverton Stud has three yearlings on offer at the 2019 Cape Yearling Sale including a filly (Lot 29) by former July winner and Equus Champion Bold Silvano.  This well related filly, whose sire is responsible for G1 winning speedster Bold Respect, is out of a stakes placed full-sister to G1 Computaform Sprint winner Noble Heir (dam of Australian G3 winner Crown Witness).

Next up is a filly (Lot 74) sired by the Riverton bred champion and triple G1 winner Captain Of All. This filly is out of the speedy Dynasty daughter House Of Lorraine –who won five times up to 1200m and she hails from the prolific Party Time family.

Irish champion Pathfork, sire of recent 2yo stakes winner Miss Honey among others, is represented here by a filly (Lot 135) who is a half-sister to five winners notably G2 Peninsula Handicap runner up, and former Met contender, Awesome Power, and the game filly Miss D’ Aray. This is also the family of July winner Yataghan and the more recent graded stakes winners Chestnut’s Rocket and The Thinker.
