Robertson farm, the Black Swan Stud, will be offering five quality lots at this year’s Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

Remarkably, all five of the Black Swan’s draft (all offered as agent) are sired by G1 winning stallions, who have all sired G1 winners!
Triple G1 winner and Equus Champion Elusive Fort, whose progeny include the likes of Siren’s Call, Lauderdale and Safe Harbour has two colts in this draft. His colt (Lot 294) out of Beautiful Noise is an own brother to a winner and a ¾ brother to eight time winner Western Wu.

The second Elusive Fort colt in the Black Swan draft is the beautifully bred son (Lot 370) of Golden Dawn. The latter is a Sweet Chestnut Stakes winning half-sister to G1 winner Chestnuts N Pearls (whose sire, like Elusive Fort, was sired by Fort Wood).

Irish classic winner Black Minnaloushe, whose progeny include a Triple Crown winner in Louis The King and a Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner, is represented by the filly Goodbye Love (Lot 369). The latter is out of a four time winning Silvano daughter of G3 Prix du Cap heroine Golden Shina, from a top class US family.
Europe champion Twice Over, whose progeny include the multiple G1 winning Equus Champion Do It Again, is represented here by a colt (Lot 413) from the same female line as outstanding South African champion Politician and English classic winner Ragusa, while red hot sire Querari, whose progeny include G1 winner Querari Falcon and millionaires Monks Hood and Kangaoor Jack, is the sire of a filly (Lot 452) whose four time winning dam is a daughter of Elliodor from the family of champions Along Came Polly and Young Rake.
