Bosworth Farm Stud, long time and loyal supporters of the National Sale, will once again be offering quality yearlings at the Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale this year.

While Bosworth have just a pair of lots on the 2019 National Sale, both yearlings are well bred sorts who hail from top class families.
Perhaps the stand out in this draft is Bebop (Lot 170), a really quality daughter of multiple Equus Champion and red hot sire What A Winter.
Not only is Bebop by a top class stallion in What A Winter, she is a half-sister to no fewer than seven winners, most notably the July winning champion Heavy Metal, who earned over R3 700 000 in stakes!

Bebop’s dam, Percussion, is a winning half-sister to the stakes winning dam of G1 Golden Slipper winner For The Lads, and further back her relatives include the G1 winners Drum Star and Planetary Music, as well as current high class galloper Twist Of Fate –who has already earned over R1 million in prize money.

Bosworth are also offering the well related Mount Athos (Lot 367), a colt by boom sire Ideal World (whose progeny include 2019 G1 Sun Met winner Rainbow Bridge). This colt is out of a G2 placed half-sister to 3 stakes winners notably G1 Horse Chestnut Stakes/SA Classic winner Slumdogmillionaire and Gold Vase winner Cycad.

This colt’s second dam is a Last Tycoon half-sister to Australian G1 winner and sire Runyon, and further back this is the family of Fillies Guineas winner Gibraltar Blue.
