Paul and Lindi Garlicki's Connemara Stud will be offering a high quality, ten-strong draft at the 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale next month.

The Connemara draft is made up of lots by such high class sires as Captain Al, Trippi, Querari and the very exciting Vercingetorix, while former Horse Of The Year Legislate has a member of his small first crop included in this consignment.

Wildeye (Lot 11) is a colt by deceased champion sire Captain Al, whose 90 plus stakes winners include such champions as Carry On Alice, Cloth Of Cloud, Captain Of All, Always In Charge and All Is Secret. Wildeye is out of G3 Acacia Handicap winner Whatalady, a Jet Master half-sister to high class performers Fort Vogue and Prince Of Kahal.

Another champion sire represented in the Connemara draft is Trippi. The latter is responsible for Kwite A Trip (Lot 119) -a colt, bred on the same cross as Trippi's top class son Chimichuri Run, out of G3 Magnolia Handicap winner Kwinta.

Galileo's short-lived G1 winning son Kingsbarns is represented here by Galactico (Lot 14) -a filly out of millionaire and Emperors Palace Ready To Run Cup winter Winter Star, while the Querari colt Piquillin (Lot 180) is out of a winning 3/4 sister to Off To Stud Handicap winner Pecan Nut and 1/2 sister to G3 winner Pessoa.

Legal Star (Lot 220) is a filly from the first crop of four time G1 winner Legislate and she is out of the Jallad sired SA Oaks runner up Star Safari -herself a 1/2 sister to another Oaks runner up in the form of Sky Pirate.

Other interesting lots in the Connemara draft include the Flower Alley colt Ginger Alley (Lot 364) whose dam is a half-sister to G1 Paddock Stakes winner Emblem Of Liberty, while Queen Of Trix (Lot 496), by the Equus Champion and hugely exciting sire Vercingetorix, is out of a daughter of triple graded stakes winner Joshua's Princess from the family of Cape Derby winner Grande Jete.
