Long time National Sales supporter, John Slade, will be offering five high class prospects at the 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
John, who was instrumental in breeding the first three past the post in the 2015 G1 Vodacom Durban July, has a really exciting draft on this year’s National Sale, with his consignment including lots by such stallions as Querari, Master Of My Fate, Go Deputy and the exciting young Galileo horse Global View.

Secret Circle (Lot 179) is a bay coly by consistently successful sire Querari, whose other progeny include G1 winner Querari Falcon and exported Gauteng Guineas winner Monks Hood. The colt on offer is out of a three time winning half-sister to G2 Gerald Rosenberg Stakes winner Hawker Hunter and is bred on a similar cross to Querari’s smart performers Maximizer and Dynamic Speed.  Shah Akbar (Lot 202) is another Querari colt on offer, with this half-brother to smart filly Jamra hailing from the same female line as outstanding sire and sire of sires Green Desert (the grandsire of Querari!)
The exciting Master Of My Fate, already sire of high class performers Twist Of Fate, Basadi Faith and Gift For The Gap, is represented here by Peace Diamond (Lot 199), a filly whose winning Silvano dam is a half-sister to 3 stakes winners (including one by Master Of My Fate’s own sire) notably the graded stakes winners Sevillano and Herod The Great.
Decorated (Lot 283) is a colt from the first crop of high class racehorse Global View (a son of Galileo from the family of Storm Bird) and this colt is out of a winning Dynasty half-sister to G2 winner Polar Moon from the immediate family of the Dynasty sired Horse Of The Year and promising young sire Legislate.

John is also offering the only yearling by G1 winner and underrated sire Go Deputy at this year’s National Sale –a filly named Indriya (Lot 456). This filly, who, like Go Deputy, is descended in female line from Cequillo, is a half-sister to 2 winners including the talented stakes performer Kazaar.
The National Sale will once again be held at the TBA complex in Germiston this year, with trading due to commence at 11:30 on April 24th.
