Robertson farm, Klipdrif Stud, will be offering an excellent, high-quality draft of 25 yearlings, as agent, at the 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The Klipdrif consignment includes lots by such leading sires as Silvano, Var, Gimmethegreenlight, Twice Over and Querari, with this draft also notable for the quality of broodmare represented.

Unnamed Master Of My Fate filly (Lot 1) is out of a stakes winning own-sister to four graded stakes winners, notably the G1 winners Nania and Red Ray, while the very exciting Master Of My Fate is also represented here by a filly (Lot 156) out of G1 Thekwini Stakes/G1 Golden Slipper runner up My Kazzie.

Multiple champion sire Silvano has four yearlings on offer in this potent draft, notably a colt (Lot 214) out of G1 Garden Province Stakes winner Soft Landing, a colt (Lot 257) whose dam is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Super Elegant, and a colt (Lot 327) out of a full-sister to G1 Empress Club Stakes winner Stratos.

Another leading South African sire represented in Klipdrif’s draft is the brilliant Var, whose pair of yearlings are a colt (Lot 113) from the family of champion sprinter Laisserfaire, and a filly (Lot 133) out of G1 Majorca Stakes dead-heater Love Is In The Air.

Rising sire star Gimmethegreenlight has four classy sorts here, including a colt (Lot 114) out of Sceptre Stakes winner Joshlin, a colt (Lot 261) out of a half-sister to millionaire Blake, and a colt (Lot 433) whose G3 placed dam is a half-sister to Cape Merchants winner Silicone Valley.

Top-class racemare She’s On Fire, whose previous progeny include three stakes performers, is represented by a filly (Lot 204) by proven G1 sire Visionaire, while Hibiscus Stakes winner Ngakuta has a colt (Lot 467) by triple G1 winner Jackson on sale.

European champion Twice Over, whose progeny include the July winning champion Do It Again, has two colts here –a colt (Lot 256) whose winning dam is a Western Winter half-sister to stakes winner Wild Wicket, and a colt (Lot 418) out of a winning daughter of Gold Bracelet winner Kiss Me Quick.

Horse Of The Year and four time G1 winner Futura has a single lot –a colt (Lot 559) whose 7 time winning dam is from the same female line as multiple champion sire Exclusive Native, while the only lot by Klipdrif’s successful sire Elusive Fort is a colt (Lot 274) whose 3 time winning dam is a half-sister to Gold Medallion winner Van Halen and this is the family of French G1 winner Royal Meeting.

Other intriguing lots in this draft are the Global View filly (Lot 363) whose winning dam is a full-sister to the stakes winner Uber Rock, the Oratorio half-brother (Lot 365) to Bauhinia Handicap winner Crown Of Roses, and the Ideal World filly (Lot 415) whose dam is a full-sister to G2 winner Zambucca and half-sister to champion Almah.
