Long time National Sale vendors Oldlands Stud will once again be offering a high class consignment at this year’s Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The farm responsible for such top class performers as English Garden, Go Indigo, Rocket Countdown and recent Derby Trial hero Gift For The Gap will be offering a small but select draft at the 2019 National Sale, with Oldlands set to offer yearlings by such top class stallions as Elusive Fort, Oratorio, Querari, and Var as well as by the hugely exciting young sire Vercingetorix.

Var Rising (Lot 71) is a Var own-sister to R4 000 000 yearling buy Moonrise Sensation and half-sister to G3 Final Fling Stakes winner Cat And The Moon, and her dam is a half-sister to the Oldlands Stud bred stakes winners Lucky Find and Pay The Piper.

The beautifully bred Fly My Flag (Lot 185) is a Querari full-sister to millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner Kangaroo Jack, with this filly being out of G1 Garden Province Stakes runner up Rainbow Flag.

European champion Oratorio, sire of recent graded stakes winners Divine Odyssey, Mardi Gras and Van Halen, has two in the Oldlands draft – Diamonds ‘n Dust (Lot 339) is a classically bred filly from the family of English classic winners Lammtarra, Snow Bride and Pour Moi, while Jacalac (Lot 482) is a colt out of a winning half-sister to Equus Champion and promising young sire The Apache.

Oldlands’ resident sire Indigo Magic, whose progeny include a Fillies Guineas winner as well as top sprinter Shades Of Indigo, is the sire of Indigo Moon (Lot 478) –a full-sister to the stakes winning Darling Moon and the smart Prince Of Orange, while red hot young sire Vercingetorix is responsible for Penny Whistle (Lot 484) a filly out of the multiple stakes winning Pay The Piper.

Digital Fortress (Lot 558) is an Elusive Fort half-brother to 3 winners including the stakes placed Carla The Rebel.
