Dr Marianne Thomson’s Ambiance Stud, the breeders of impressive recent G2 Zulu Kingdom Explorer Golden Slipper winner Cockney Pride, will be offering a high-quality, six strong draft at the 2019 National 2YO Sale, which takes place at the TBA complex next month.

This draft is made up of two-year-olds sired by such exciting and popular stallions as Elusive Fort, Futura, Master Of My Fate, Querari and Vercingetorix.

The latter, currently one of the hottest sires at stud in South Africa, is responsible for Chapter And Verse (Lot 79) –a half-brother to four winners including Michaelmas Handicap winner Celtic Captain and whose dam is a winning half-sister to the stakes winning sire Sudden Storm.

Mosalah (Lot 44) is a colt by the increasingly successful, and always popular, Querari –whose progeny include none other than Cockney Pride! This colt, a half-brother to two winners, is out of a winning half-sister to the Ambiance Stud bred G1 winners Al Nitak and The Sheik, and this is also the family of Cape Derby winner Top Seller and the very promising two-year-old Kaydens Pride.

The Dynasty sired four time G1 winner and Horse Of The Year Futura has two in this draft –a colt (Lot 53) whose 3 time winning dam is out of a stakes winning own sister to champion Young Rake, and a filly (Lot 329) who is a three-parts sister to the Dynasty sired G3 performer Alexander.

Precious Love (Lot 226), who shares his sire Elusive Fort with the likes of Siren’s Call, Lauderdale, and Fort Ember, is a colt out of a full-sister to the Ambiance Stud bred champion and dual G1 winner Cataloochee, while Soul Control (Lot 347) is a Master Of My Fate filly whose dam is a dual winning half-sister to G2 Colorado King Stakes winner Natural Selection.
