Hanno Joubert’s La Berg Stud will be offering six lots at the 2019 Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale, with the La Berg draft including two-year-olds by such stallions as Elusive Fort, Global View, Master Of My Fate,  and Where’s That Tiger.

Equus Champion and proven G1 sire Elusive Fort has two fillies in this draft –Elusive Coiture (Lot 14) is a filly out of a stakes placed West Man mare, and is thus bred on the same cross as Elusive Fort’s G1 winner Siren’s Call, while Tip To Tap (Lot 95) is a half-sister to the very smart filly Rock A Roll Dancer and is from the same family as G1 performer La Mancha.

Popular young Galileo horse Global View is the sire of Tracker Jacker (Lot 19) with that colt out of a winning Captain Al half-sister to G1 placed stakes winner Bush Pirate,  while red hot sire Master Of My Fate is represented in the La Berg draft by a filly (Lot 47) by the name of Love Handle. The latter is out of a winning half-sister to G1 Daily News 2000 runner up Rake’s Chestnut, and she is closely inbred to Rakeen –the grandsire of Master Of My Fate!

Making News (Lot 220) is a colt by ill-fated Storm Cat horse Where’s That Tiger, and this colt is a half-brother to 3 winners with his dam being the stakes placed Logontonews (a daughter of champion London News and SA Oaks winner Logetta).
Last but not least, is a colt (Lot 378) who shares his sire Rebel King with recent graded winners Princess Rebel and Rebel’s Champ. This colt, a half-brother to 3 winners, is out of a dual winning half-sister to the stakes placed Broadsword, and his third dam is a stakes winning daughter of top-class sire and broodmare sire High Top.
