Jan Mantel’s Millstream Farm will be offering a classy, six strong string at the 2019 Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale, set to take place at the TBA complex from August 15th-16th.

Millstream will be offering a quality draft, with the consignment including the progeny of such notable stallions as Vercingetorix, Potala Palace, Oratorio and Pathfork.

Equus Champion and multiple G1 winner Vercingetorix made an exceptional start with his first 2yo winners including such black type winners as African Warrior, Hooves Of Troy and Viking Moon, and the son of Silvano has two fillies in this draft. His filly (Lot 63) out of Beau’tafal Guest hails from the immediate family of multiple champion sprinter J J The Jet Plane, with her third dam being the stakes winning Northern Guest mare Majestic Guest.

Vercingetorix is also the sire of a filly (Lot 369) out of a winning Dalakhani half-sister to US G2 winner Dark Islander and she hails from the family of multiple G1 winning filly Annoconnor and Melbourne Cup hero At Talaq –to name but two.

Triple G1 winner Oratorio, whose progeny include eight individual G1 winners, has a filly (Lot 58) whose stakes placed dam is a daughter of champion sire Silvano and the front running stakes winner Light Fandango, while fellow G1 winner Jackson is responsible for a three-parts brother (Lot 326) to two winners whose dam won the Oaks in Zimbabwe.

Exciting young sire and G1 winner Potala Palace is represented by a filly (Lot 83) who is closely inbred to legendary sire Sadler’s Wells. This filly, a half-sister to 3 winners, is out of a winning half-sister to Mauritian star Tabascorez and fourth dam is champion Cherry Hinton.

Chasing Mavericks (Lot 140) is a colt by Irish champion, and proven G1 sire, Pathfork, and he is out of a mare who won six, and his granddam is a half-sister to G2 Post Merchants winner Super Home.
