John Everett’s Narrow Creek Stud will be offering a high-class draft at this year’s Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale, with this consignment including two-year-olds by such stallions as Elusive Fort, Flower Alley,  Pathfork, Querari and Soft Falling Rain.

Among Narrow Creek’s National 2YO Sale is a filly who has claims to being a half-sister to a Fillies Guineas winner!

Gypsy Magic (Lot 118) is a daughter of Querari –a sire with whom Narrow Creek have enjoyed plenty of success over the years. This well bred two-year-old is a full-sister to the smart Procal Harum, and a half-sister to top-class filly Maybe Yes. The latter’s five wins included a triumph in the 2014 G2 KRA Fillies Guineas, where Maybe Yes accounted for none other than Equus Champion and multiple G1 winner In The Fast Lane.

Equus champion, and proven G1 sire, Elusive Fort, is the sire of Adios Amigos (Lot 337), a colt out of a five time winning daughter of Captain Al, while Royal Mazarin (Lot 319) is a son of proven sire and G1 winner Flower Alley, and this colt’s granddam is a half-sister to G1 winner and Equus Champion Kochka.

Irish Champion Pathfork has two colts in the Narrow Creek draft – a full-brother (Lot 152) to Listed Tattersalls Summer Juvenile Stakes winner Miss Honey, and a colt (Lot 225) whose stakes placed granddam is an own sister to G1 winner and champion Gold Flier.

Deceased Equus Champion Soft Falling Rain made a great start with his first 2yos, and the son of National Assembly is doubly represented here. His filly Eternal Hope (Lot 154) hails from the family of dual US G1 winner and sire Wekiva Springs, while Soft Falling Rain’s daughter Black Ice (Lot 354) is out of the smart Steady Chat. The latter won nine and ran second in the G2 Schweppes Gold Vase.

Yet another local G1 winner represented is Dynasty’s son Jackson –the latter is the sire of a filly (Lot 213) from the very same female line as US Triple Crown winner Affirmed (as well as Jackson himself).
