Spies Racing will be offering a speedily bred filly at November’s Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale, set take place at the TBA complex in Germiston.

Little Deuce Coupe (Lot 45), is a filly from the very first crop of the lightning fast Coup De Grace, the only son of multiple champion US sire Tapit at stud in South Africa.
Already champion sire in North America on three occasions, Tapit is currently sire of more than 120 stakes winners, with his progeny having banked in excess of $148 000 000 in earnings.

His son Coup De Grace, a half-brother to two-year-old G1 winner Dancing Rags, was one of the fastest horses of his generation and captured both the G2 Amsterdam and G3 Bay Shore Stakes during his career.
Out of a Storm Cat daughter of a Breeders’ Cup winning champion, Coup De Grace looks poised to make his mark on the South African turf.

Coup De Grace’s daughter Little Deuce Coupe, a half-sister to 3 multiple winners, is out of Ruffian Stakes runner up Fun To Fly, a very quick sort who won six times over 1000 metres.

Fun To Fly, whose own dam won 3 times up to 1200m, is from an outstanding family with her relatives including short-lived Cape Guineas winner Face North, champion Quarrytown and former Met hero Polo Classic –to name but a few!
