Barbara Sanne’s Oldlands Stud will be offering a strong draft at the upcoming Cape Yearling Sale, which is set to be held at the Mistico Equestrian Centre at the end of February.
Oldlands, the breeders of such top class thoroughbreds as English Garden, Rocket Countdown, Go Indigo, and Sanshaawes, will be offering yearlings by such proven and popular stallions as Elusive Fort, Master Of My Fate and Querari to name but a few.

Proven G1 sire Count Dubois has two lots in this draft –his daughter First Encounter (Lot 28) is out of a winning daughter of Fillies Guineas runner up Winter Ade, while Count Dubois colt Hallerbos (Lot 139) is out of a four time winning Var half-sister to the Oldlands raised millionaire Kangaroo Jack.

Elusive Fort is another proven sire doubly represented in Oldlands draft, with his son Forttuva (Lot 142) out of a winning half-sister to multiple stakes winner Tuvana Silva, and his daughter Space Time (Lot 144) out of a five time winning half-sister to the Oldlands Stud bred Olympic Duel Stakes winner Hanabi.

The promising Master Of My Fate is represented here by a filly (Lot 50), bred on the same cross as the sire’s top class filly Basadi Faith, out of a 3 time winning daughter of Captain Al.
Other appealing lots in this quality draft include Jackie Sparks (Lot 37), a Jackson filly out of a half-sister to the Oldlands bred G1 winner English Garden, Graphene Aerogel (Lot 96) –the Jackson half-sister to BSA August Million winner Fullfillyourdream, and Leshawes (Lot 87). The latter is a colt by Ashaawes (sire of the Oldlands bred Dubai hero Sanshaawes) and he is out of the stakes placed two-year-old Letas Bonnet, who won four times up to 1400 metres.
