Graeme Koster's Rosedene Stud will be offering five quality yearlings at this year's Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The draft is made up of yearlings sired by such notable G1 winners as Act Of War, resident sire Greys Inn, Twice Over and William Longsword.

European champion Twice Over, whose progeny include South Africa's reigning Horse Of The Year Do It Again, has two very closely related yearlings in Rosedene's draft.

Camden Borough, a three time winning half-sister to champion and G1 Canon Gold Cup winner Thundering Star and G3 Jacaranda Handicap winner Olympic Storm, has a Twice Over filly (Lot 61) on offer, while Camden Borough's Jallad sired half-sister Defining Beauty has a colt (Lot 107) by Twice Over on sale.

July winning champion Greys Inn, whose offspring include dual South African Horse Of The Year Legal Eagle, has a single lot on offer -a colt (Lot 288) whose East Cape Oaks winning dam Miss Scaramanga is out of G2 winning full-sister to the dam of Hong Kong Horse Of The Year Sacred Kingdom (the latter being bred on very similar lines to Miss Scaramanga herself).

The Dynasty sired Cape Guineas winner Act Of War is currently one of South Africa's leading first crop sires, and he is represented here by a colt (Lot 395) whose dam is a Silvano half-sister to Irridescence Stakes winner Red Disa and to G1 Cape Fillies Guineas runner up Tick Tock-herself the dam of G2 SA Nursery winner William The Silent.

Another well bred Cape Guineas winner represented here is William The Longsword, with that Captain Al son responsible for a colt (Lot 466) whose four time winning dam is a half-sister to G3 Byerley Turk/G3 Kings Cup winner My Choice-sired by William Longsword's own broodmare sire Fort Wood. This colt's stakes winning granddam is an Elliodor full-sister to champion, and G1 Paddock Stakes winner, Dollar Fortune.
