OLDLANDS TO OFFER A CLASSY QUARTET AT NATIONAL SALE

Barbara Sanne's Oldlands Stud will be offering four well related yearlings at this year's Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale in April.
Oldlands, breeders of such standout graded stakes winners as English Garden, Astro News, Go Indigo and Rocket Countdown, will be offering yearlings sired by such prominent and popular stallions as Master Of My Fate, Querari and the hugely exciting Vercingetorix.

Querari, South Africa's Leading Sire of 2Yos in 2018-2019, has two impressive yearlings in Oldlands' draft.
Lunar Ballade (Lot 120) is a half-sister to three winners, including G3 Final Fling Stakes winner Cat And The Moon and R4 000 000 yearling buy Moonrise Sensation, and her dam Earn A Moon is a winning half-sister to the talented Oldlands bred pair of Pay The Piper and Lucky Find.
Querari colt Alpenhorn (Lot 325) is a three-parts brother to Lunar Ballade, with this colt being a son of triple stakes winner Pay The Piper (herself a daughter of top broodmare sire Saumarez), and his six winning siblings include the stakes placed six time winner Dancinginthedesert.
Master Of My Fate, whose Oldlands bred son Gift For The Gap captured the 2019 Listed Derby Trial, is represented here by a full-brother (Lot 201) to Gift For The Gap in the form of Absolute Value. The latter, out of a winning daughter of SA Oaks winner Idle Fancy, also numbers the talented, stakes placed Arte as a half-sister.

The brilliant Vercingetorix, whose impressive first crop includes Guineas hero Ikigai and millionaire African Warrior, is the sire of the classically bred filly Verolina (Lot 169). This filly is out of a winning half-sister to the Oldlands bred G1 SA Classic winner English Garden, and further back, this is the family of champions Colonial Girl and Edict Of Nantes among others.
