Eugene Freemans Boland Stud is a long time supporter of the National Sale, and Boland will once again be bringing forward an outstanding draft to this years Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

Based in Ceres, Bolands imposing National Sale draft includes yearlings by such proven and promising stallions as Captain Of All, Futura, Gimmethegreenlight, Master Of My Fate, Querari, Rafeef, and Var.

The ever popular Var, whose current flagbearers include G1 LOrmarins Queens Plate winner Vardy and G3 Capetown Noir Kenilworth Fillies Nursery winner Delta Queen, is represented here by a colt (Lot 19), whose dual winning dam is a half-sister to both G1 J&B Met winner Martial Eagle and to  dual Algoa Cup winner Nebula. This is also the family of this seasons star three-year-old filly Summer Pudding and short-lived G1 winner Divine Jury.

Querari, South Africas Leading Sire of 2YOs of 2018-2019, is well represented in Bolands draft with four yearlings. These include a colt (Lot 25) out of a half-sister to millionaire Arcetri Pink, a filly (Lot 294) out of a winning Silvano half-sister to triple G1 winner Captain America, a half-brother to promising two-year-old Colour My Fate, and a half-sister (Lot 363) to KZN Yearling Sale Million winner Lunar Rush.

Horse Of The Year Futuras sole representative is a half-brother (Lot 215) to the very talented Dancing Queen, with the latter holding an entry for Saturdays G1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes.

Sire sensation Gimmethegreenlight, whose sons ran 1-2-3 in this years G1 SA Classic, has three in this draft - a colt (Lot 2) out of a four time winning, G3 placed daughter of Captain Al, a filly (Lot 68) out of the Captain Al sired G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery runner up Captains Lullaby, and a filly (Lot 262) out of a winning half-sister to Singapore champion Lizarre.

Other attractive lots in Bolands draft include the Captain Of All filly (Lot 69) whose four time winning dam is a full-sister to Horse Of The Year National Colour (dam of Rafeef and Mustaaqeem), the Master Of My Fate half-sister (Lot 284) to Perfect Promise Sprint winner The Merry Widow, and the Master Of My Fate colt (Lot 352) whose five time winning, stakes placed dam is out of a three-parts sister to unbeaten champion Private Reserve.
