Bloodstock South Africa graduate Nourbese provided former Horse Of The Year, and former National Sale purchase, Futura with his first stakes winner when he won the G2 Durban Golden Horseshoe (1400m) at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.

The Ben Botha bred gelding made it two wins in a row, when he powered home under jockey Stuart Randolph to land Saturdays G2 prize in convincing fashion.

Nourbese, trained by Corne Spies for owners Corne Spies Racing (Pty) Ltd & Messrs Keegan Govender, R P Macnab, D Vayapuri, D Dasrath & Mrs C Dasrath (Pramalan Chetty), stormed home to post a half length win, while accounting for some of South Africas most promising two-year-olds.
