BOLAND STUD TO OFFER STAR STUDDED DRAFT AT 2YO SALE

 

Eugene Freemans Boland Stud will once again be offering a classy draft at this years Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale.

 

The Ceres farm, whose draft includes two lots offered as agent, as well as a two-year-old offered on behalf of the Boland Stud Grooms, will be offering two-year-olds by such proven and popular stallions as Gimmethegreenlight, Master Of My Fate, and Querari as well as by such exciting prospects as Futura, Louis The King, Rafeef and William Longsword.

 

Consistently successful sire Querari has three lots in Bolands draft -a half-brother (Lot 34) to Singapore G1 winner Flax, a colt (Lot 252) out of a full-sister to G1 Champions Cup winner Orbison and a filly (Lot 374) whose G2 placed dam is a full-sister to Chefano-winner of the G3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup in Hong Kong.

 

Bolands grooms will be offering a colt (Lot 184) by the very exciting Master Of My Fate in this draft, with the colt in question out of a winning Captain Al half-sister to the stakes placed Euphoria, and hailing from the immediate family of Met winner Angus.

 

Master Of My Fate, whose recent flagbearers include such notable G1 winners as Sentbydestiny and Tempting Fate, has two other lots in Bolands 2YO Sale draft.

 

His colt (Lot 32) out of the 3 time winning Horse Chestnut mare Balkan claims G2 Prix Robert Papin winner Ocean Ridge as his third dam, while Master Of My Fate is also the sire of a colt (Lot 181) whose dam is a half-sister to the Oaks winning millionairess Secret Potion.

 

Gimmethegreenlight, whose progeny also includes multiple Equus champion Got The Greenlight, is responsible for a filly (Lot 114) whose dam is a winning own sister to G3 Jubilee Handicap runner up Rainy Day Blues and she is from the immediate family of champion filly Lady In Black.

 

Other appealing lots in this quality draft include the Red Ray half-sister (Lot 97) to smart 3yo Russian Rock, the Rafeef filly (Lot 246) whose dam is a half-sister to G1 winning 2yo Forest Indigo, and the Futura filly (Lot 369) whose dam is a three-time winning half-sister to Derby winner Silvanos Jet.
