EVERGREEN TO OFFER FANTASTIC FIVE AT 2YO SALE

Evergreen Stud will be offering five, well related two-year-olds at the 2020 Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale.

The Cape farm will be offering lots sired by such popular and promising stallions as Captain Of All, Pomodoro, Rafeef, and Vercingetorix -making this draft a must-see!

Champion Sprinter Captain Of All, South Africas Leading First Season Sire of 2018-2019, made a bright start to his stud career with his early crops producing such graded stakes winners as Shango and Springs Of Carmel.

The champion son of Captain Al has two colts in Evergreens draft-a colt (Lot 44) out of a full-sister to the stakes placed Elusivenchantment and half-sister to champion sprinter Via Africa, and a colt (Lot 281) whose winning dam is a daughter of KZN Fillies Guineas/Gold Circle Oaks winner Joshuas Princess.

Equus champion and hugely promising sire Vercingetorix, the Leading Second Season Sire and Leading Sire of 3YOs in South Africa last season, is another represented in this draft. His colt (Lot 152) out of the winning Black Minnaloushe mare Jennyanydots is a half-brother to 4 winners including the stakes placed Mazikeen. Further back, this is the family of graded stakes winners Fairyinthewoods, Tarn Fairy and Mr Winsome (with the latter sharing his sire Silvano with Vercingetorix himself).

Redoutes Choice son Rafeef, whose six wins included a score in the G1 Computaform Sprint, is represented here by a filly (Lot 162) out of G3 Fillies Mile/G3 Starling Stakes winner Katys Lane, while former Vodacom Durban July winner Pomodoro, whose progeny include the likes of champion Return Flight and the very promising filly Caralluma, is the sire of a filly (Lot 361) whose dam is by Fort Wood, and this fillys fourth dam is the legendary broodmare Fall Aspen (whose four G1 winners include the aforementioned Fort Wood!)

This years National 2YO Sale will take place at the TBA complex on November 12th and 13th, and the catalogue can now be viewed online at www.bsa.co.za
