WICKLOW STUDS WELL BRED 2YO DRAFT SET TO IMPRESS

Rennie Prices Wicklow Stud will be offering five well bred lots at the upcoming Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale this November.

Wicklow will be offering two-year-olds sired by such popular stallions as Gimmethegreenlight, Global View, Master Of My Fate, Querari and Twice Over, making this draft a must-see for any serious buyer!

European champion Twice Over, whose progeny include dual Vodacom Durban July winner Do It Again and fellow G1 winner Sand And Sea, is represented here by a colt (Lot 222) out of a four time winning half-sister to the stakes placed Fun To Fly, while further back this is the family of Horse Of The Year Quarrytown.

The impressive Gimmethegreenlight, sire of such notable G1 winners as Got The Greenlight, Gunner and Yulong Prince, is the sire of a filly (Lot 223) whose stakes placed dam won four, and this fillys granddam is a half-sister to none other than dual South African Horse Of The Year, and five time G1 winner, Variety Club.

Champion Tempting Fates sire Master Of My Fate has a colt (Lot 226) on offer whose winning dam is a Silvano half-sister to Cape Derby winner Top Seller, while last seasons Leading First Season Sire Global View is the sire of a colt (Lot 313) whose granddam is a dual winning half-sister to dual G1 winner Grand Emporium as well as the dam of high-class Hong Kong galloper Singapore Sling.

Last, but by no means least, in this draft is the filly (Lot 321) by the ever consistent sire Querari, whose daughters include the likes of Querari Falcon, Cosmic Light, Cockney Pride and Caya Coco.

This filly, whose dam is bred on similar lines to Cape Derby winner Floatyourboat, sports a half-sister to two Met winning champions as her granddam and further back, this is the family of US G1 winners Bast, Fault and champion Afleet Alex.
