BEAUMONT STUD OFFER CLASSY QUARTET AT NOVEMBER SALE

Beaumont Stud, whose alumni include dual South African Horse Of The Year Variety Club among others, will be offering four lots at the upcoming November Two Year Old Sale.

The Cape farm’s draft consists of two-year-olds sired by Oratorio, Pathfork and William Longsword, with Irish champion Pathfork doubly represented here.

Pathfork, whose progeny include the G1 winners Mighty High and Pearl Of Asia as well as recent G2 Allied Steelrode-Onamissionmile hero Bingwa, is the sire of a colt (Lot 16) whose winning dam is a half-sister to the very smart sprinter Valberg, and a half-sister (Lot 125) to the Beaumont Stud bred Listed Gardenia Stakes winner Nicky Noo.

Triple G1 winner Oratorio has sired more than 100 black type horses including the likes of Military Attack, Beethoven and top South African sprinter Van Halen. The son of Danehill is represented in Beaumont’s November Sale draft by a well related half-brother (Lot 42) to G1 SA Classic/G2 Charity Mile third place getter Youcanthurrylove and the very speedy filly Garibondy. Further back, this is the family of champions Jay Peg and Kochka as well as a host of black type performers.

William Longsword, one of the best sons of multiple champion sire Captain Al, has a very well bred colt (Lot 33) in this draft. The colt in question is out of the stakes winning Luna De Victoria -a half-sister to G1 Cape Guineas winner and very promising sire Act Of War and G3 Betting World Langerman victor Subastador. His second dam is the stakes placed Si Senorita -South Africa’s Broodmare Of The Year in 2014-2015.
