BOLAND STUD BRING CLASSY DRAFT TO AUGUST TWO YEAR OLD SALE

Eugene Freeman’s Boland Stud consistently produces high-class thoroughbreds, with Boland graduates shining both in the sales ring and on the racetrack.

Boland will be bringing a quality draft to the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, consisting of two-year-olds sired by all of Crusade, Futura, Master Of My Fate, The United States and What A Winter.

The Ceres farm will also be offering a further two lots on behalf of the Digteby Stud, and eight other yearlings as agent.
Gimmethegreenlight, South Africa’s Champion Sire of 2020-2021, has a single lot here -Flying Spirit (Lot 70) is a half-sister to three winners including the dam of G2 winner Springs Of Carmel, while the hugely promising Rafeef’s sole representative in this draft is Marquez (Lot 79), a full-brother to the exciting prospect William Robertson.

Champion sprinter, and leading sire, What A Winter, has two lots in this draft -a full-sister (Lot 20) to the very smart Princekresh, and Western Wishes (Lot 306). The latter, a half-sister to four winners, is out of the very smart racemare Ellie’s Wish.

Galileo’s son The United States has made a cracking start to his stud career, and the sire of Sheela has two lots in Boland’s consignment. The colt (Lot 121) out of dual winning Horse Chestnut mare Princess Eleanor is out of half-sister to G3 winning two-year-old Empress Crown, while the filly (Lot 183) out of the three time winning Count Dubois mare Surefire is a half-sister to debut winner Quasiforsure.

Master Of My Fate has firmly established himself as a high-class sire and the son of Jet Master has four two-year-olds on offer. They include a half-brother (Lot 3) to Michael Roberts Handicap winner Wild Wicket, a half-brother (Lot 59) to Java Handicap hero Fulcrum and a filly (Lot 287) out of the smart racemare Cup Cake.

Other appealing lots in this draft include the Futura colt (Lot 187) whose dam is a winning half-sister to multiple G1 winning champion Via Africa, and the Pathfork colt (Lot 38) Jimmy Don whose dam is G2 Sceptre Stakes winner Joshlin.

Boland will be offering two lots on behalf of the Digteby Stud -Double Silver (Lot 188) is a Twice Over half-brother to two smart winners, while Smart Pomodoro (Lot 222) is a Pomodoro colt from the same family as the likes of Dubai Millennium, Fort Wood, Intello, Mondialiste and Timber Country to name but a few!
