BSA GRADUATE SALUTES IN HONG KONG

Bloodstock South Africa made news in Hong Kong on Saturday, when BSA graduate Ezra saluted at Sha Tin in fine style.

Trained by Tony Millard, Ezra made it Hong Kong win number three, when he won the Lukfook Jewellery Love Forever Collectio Handicap.

Under Ruan Maia, the flashy grey came with a sustained late run to land Saturday’s one mile race by a neck.

Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfonten, Ezra was a R2 200 000 buy from the 2017 National Yearling Sale, when knocked down to owner William Mocatta.

A son of Avontuur Thoroughbred Farm’s triple G1 winning sire Oratorio, Ezra is out of former G1 Cape Fillies Guineas winner Emerald Beauty, herself a daughter of Equalize.

Bloodstock South Africa would like to thank all its loyal patrons for their ongoing support in 2021, and wishes them all the best for the year ahead.
