CAMARGUE STUD OFFER SIX SUPER LOTS AT NATIONAL SALE

Camargue Stud is home to champion sprinter Captain Of All. The latter made headlines recently when his classy daughter Fiery Pegasus won the G1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic.

A son of Captain Al, Captain Of All has been firing on all cylinders lately, with his recent winners including the talented Meu Capitano as well as eye catching debut winner Fully Committed.

Brett Van Laun will be offering a six strong string at the 2025 National Yearling Sale, with Camargue’s draft consisting of yearlings sired by Danon Platina, Declarationofpeace, Fire Away, The United States and the ever popular What A Winter.

The latter is the sire of a half-brother (Lot 200) to two winners, with this colt out of Listed Devon Air Stakes and G1 SA Oaks runner up Mohave Princess, and this colt hails from the same female line as legendary racehorse Damascus, among others.

Promising young sire Declarationofpeace has two lots on offer, including a half-sister (Lot 89) to Listed Zimbabwe Oaks winner Empress Of Jade and six other winners. This filly is out of a winning Fort Wood three-parts sister to Equus Champion and successful sire Elusive Fort.

Another exciting sire represented in Camargue’s National Sale draft is Fire Away. The latter, sire of the first two home in this year’s G1 TAB SA Classic, is the sire of a filly (Lot 232), whose dam Pretty Woman is a winning full-sister to G1 Champions Cup winner Orbison.

Two other attractive prospects in Camargue’s National consignment include The United States colt (Lot 99) whose granddam is dual G1 winning champion Lady Windermere, and the Danon Platina half-brother (Lot 147) to Listed War Of Athena Handicap heroine Juliet Tango.

This draft can be found in Block E at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
