One of the best value for money auctions in the country, the Cape Yearling Sale has a rich history of unveiling future stars of the track.
Notable recent graduates of this sale include such graded stakes winners as G1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes winner Zarina and the likes of Bold Fortune, Hoedspruit, Mr Flood, Netta, Springs Of Carmel, and impressive recent G3 Three Troikas Stakes queen Sprinkles, while subsequent Australian G1 winner and sire, Yulong Prince, was offered for sale at the 2016 Cape Sale.
This year’s sale will take place at Kenilworth racecourse on Sunday February 27th, with the auction set to get underway at 12:30. More than 170 yearlings have been catalogued for sale, with many of the Cape’s top stud farms well represented at the Cape Sale.
