The Cheveley Stud enjoyed a memorable day on World Sports Betting Cape Town Met day earlier this year.
Not only did the Cheveley bred Rascova win the G1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes on Met day, but the Cheveley Stud bred G1 Hollywoodbets Durban July winner Oriental Charm was beaten just half a length when runner up in the Met itself.
Between them, Oriental Charm and Rascova (who has a half-brother on offer at the National Sale) have won six graded stakes races and earned over R7.161 million in stakes.
Vaughan Koster will be offering a small but select draft at the 2025 National Yearling Sale, with Cheveley’s National Sale string made up of yearlings sired by Malmoos, Querari and Rafeef. Cheveley’s four yearlings, one offered on behalf of Cheveley’s Grooms Incentive Scheme, all hail from top-class families, making this a draft not to miss.
