“We are bringing three very exciting horses to this year’s sale.” These are the words used by Vaughan Koster to describe Cheveley Stud’s draft for the 2023 November Two Year Old Sale.
Cheveley, long one of the top thoroughbred nurseries in South Africa, will be bringing three very well bred colts to the November Sale, with the trio made up of two colts by Master Of My Fate and a colt by the perennially successful Querari.
Cheveley’s draft includes a three-parts brother to dual G1 Summer Cup winner Master Sabina, a colt related to the Cheveley bred champions Bela-Bela and Rabiya as well as recent G3 Cape Classic runner up Snow Pilot, and a half-brother to the dam of recent Southeaster Sprint winner Kiss Me Captain.
Vaughan had the following comments to make about his string for the upcoming BSA auction:
Lot 16 c Master Of My Fate – Sabina Park
He is a very well bred, scopey colt. This is a lovely individual with a lot to like about him.
Lot 33 c Querari – Spring In Seattle
This is a lovely looking colt, who is very athletic. He hails from a tremendous family, and I think he could be anything.
Lot 104 c Master Of My Fate – Firstnightbliss
He is a lovely, quality colt and great mover.
