Long established as one of South Africa’s leading producers of high-class thoroughbreds, the Cheveley Stud will be bringing a small but quality draft to this year’s November Two Year Old Sale.
This draft is made up of four two-year-olds, with Cheveley’s November line-up including the progeny of such notable stallions as Gold Standard, Master Of My Fate, Rafeef and The United States.
Cheveley’s Vaughan Koster is delighted with the quality of his draft and had the following to say about his string:
Lot 25: c The United States -Miss K
This is a strong, athletic, workman like colt. His dam was a nine time winning full-sister to two black type winners.
Lot 51: c Rafeef -Pretty Penny
He is a strong, good legged, good moving Rafeef colt from a high class, speedy mare. This is a colt with a very speedy pedigree with his third dam being the flying filly Lady Lexington.
Lot 112: f Gold Standard -Winter’s Hope
High quality, deep chested, free moving filly. By the promising Gold Standard, this filly is out of a winning half-sister to Michael Roberts Handicap winner Wild Wicket.
Lot 135: c Master Of My Fate -Clear Sailing
Quality, tall, rangy, athletic colt from a speedy multiple listed winning dam. By a very much inform sire, this colt is out of former East Cape champion Clear Sailing.
