CLIFTON STUD TO UNLEASH MORE STARS AT AUGUST SALE

Clifton Stud CC enjoyed a wonderful few weeks earlier this year. The Clifton bred champion Mrs Geriatrix romped home to win the R600 000 KwaZulu-Natal Breeders Mile. Classy Clifton Stud bred three-year-old Flag Man showed his class by finishing second in the G1 Daily News 2000 and fourth in the G1 Hollywoodbets Durban July, and the Clifton Stud bred Madison Valley picked up his biggest win when landing the 2024 G3 DStv Gold Vase.
The farm also sold a half-brother to Flag Man for R900 000 at the recent KZN Yearling Sale, where Clifton ended that sale as second Top Vendors by Aggregate.

Clifton Stud will offering a large draft at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, where buyers will be able to acquire two-year-olds sired by the likes of Act Of War, Danon Platina, Fire Away, New Predator, One World and Rafeef, to name but a few.
Sensational young sire One World is represented here by a colt (Lot 164) out of Ikati, a stakes placed winner of seven and granddaughter of G1 Garden Province Stakes winner Sleek Wine. One World’s stakes placed half-sister Count To Ten has a filly (Lot 89) on offer by Erik The Red- sired, like One World, by Captain Al. Top sire Rafeef is another popular stallion represented in Clifton’s August Sale draft -he is the sire of Cosmic Orbit (Lot 268), a half-sister to KZN Yearling Sale Million winner Lunar Rush. Abbey Sniper (Lot 37), a colt by the much missed New Predator, is out of a winning daughter of Fastnet Rock and G1 Irish Oaks heroine Vintage Tipple, while Fear Of Fire (Lot 115) is a Fire Away colt out of a four time winning daughter of Hussonet.

Clifton Stud’s draft can be viewed from Block E at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
