Relatives of such standout performers as Abashiri, Jaeger Moon, Kundalini, MK’s Pride, and Yard-Arm are to be found in Cornerstone Stud’s string at the 2021 November Two Year Old Sale.
Cornerstone will be offering two-year-olds by such proven and promising stallions as Act Of War, Capetown Noir, Go Deputy, and The United States, to name a few, at the November Sale.
Deputy Logan (Lot 41) is a colt by Go Deputy from the immediate family of the Go Deputy sired Triple Crown winner Abashiri, and this colt’s dam is a winning three-parts sister to last season’s very smart three-year-old Jaeger Moon.
The latter was sired by champion Capetown Noir and the latter is represented in this string by a filly (Lot 69) whose dam is a winning half-sister to G2 (now G1) Thekwini Stakes winner Bridal Paths.
Promising young sire Act Of War, whose progeny include champion War Of Athena, has two lots on offer. His unnamed son (Lot 119) out of the six time winning Bellagio hails from the same family as British classic winner Lucarno, while his daughter (Lot 151) out of the winning Joshua Dancer mare Espinado is a half-sister to 3 winners –including the dam of current top-class galloper MK’s Pride.
Rabobi (Lot 70) is a Judpot colt whose dam is a half-sister to G2 winner River Crossing, while US Open (Lot 99), a colt by Galileo’s promising son The United States, is a half-brother to five winners, including the very smart Tallinn and this colt is closely inbred to outstanding sire Pivotal.
Former G1 winning two-year-old Seventh Rock, a proven sire of G1 winners, is responsible for Master Tigress (Lot128), a filly whose third dam is a half-sister to champion Milleverof, and Lite Fury (Lot 145) –a filly whose five time winning dam is a daughter of Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery winner Hard To Get.
