The Paardeberg Stud is an exciting addition to the South African racing and breeding industry. Situated less than an hour from Cape Town, Paardeberg Stud, formerly known as Dudleyvale, has been restored to pristine condition by Sally Bruss on behalf of businessmen Steve Ajax and Charles Palmer. The farm is home to a hugely exciting stallion in the form of 2018 G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Expert Eye, with the latter set to cover his first season in South Africa later this year. Described as a “very good-looking and correct horse”, Expert Eye showed high-class form at both two and three and earned more than £1.412 million in prize money.
Paardeberg will be bringing a classy draft to this year’s National Yearling Sale, and will be offering yearlings sired by the likes of Master Of My Fate, Querari, One World, Rafeef, Soqrat, The United States and What A Winter.
