Schalkie Van Der Walt’s Gelykfontein Stud will be strongly represented at this year’s November Two Year Old Sale.

Gelykfontein will be offering a nine strong draft at the November Sale, with this string made up of two-year-olds sired by all of Admiral Kitten, Flower Alley, Gold Standard, Ideal World, Master Of My Fate, Pomodoro and Rebel King.

Kitten’s Joy’s high-class son Admiral Kitten has two lots on offer here. French Kitten (Lot 123) is a filly from the same family as top-class fillies Luvaluva and Prayers’N Promises while Admirals Chance (Lot 131) is a colt out of a dual winning half-sister to G3 winner Bit On The Side.

Mr Winter (Lot 106) is a colt by the increasingly successful Master Of My Fate, with this colt’s granddam a stakes placed half-sister to G1 Summer Cup winner Flirtation. Ideal World is another high-class sire represented here -with the sire of Smart Call and Rainbow Bridge responsible for a filly (Lot 52) whose dam is a three-parts sister to star sprinter J J The Jet Plane.

High-class producer Pin Number, whose six previous winners include G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery winner Wheredowego, has a Flower Alley filly (Lot 55) on sale, while Tease, a winning full-sister to the stakes winning Peep Show, has a filly (Lot 95) from the first crop of Selangor Cup hero Gold Standard on offer.

A daughter of champion sprinter Rebel King, Rebels Cookie (Lot 127) is out of a half-sister to G2 Gold Bowl winner J’s Outsider with this filly also hailing from the same female line as champion, and successful sire, Myboycharlie among many others. Rebel King is also sire of Northern King (Lot 47) -a colt from the same family as champion Imperial Silver.

Please take note that Northern King is a son of Rebel King not Admiral Kitten as previously advertised.

Gelykfontein, as agent, are also offering the Pomodoro colt Golden Torrent (Lot 146), whose dam is a Querari half-sister to dual G1 winner, and champion sprinter Cataloochee.
