Grace Stables will be doubly represented at this year’s KZN Yearling Sale, with Winnie Fourie bringing two well related fillies to the Durban based auction.
One filly was sired by Captain Al’s multiple graded stakes winning son Erik The Red, with the other filly a daughter of Dubawi’s G1 winning and producing son Willow Magic.
Winnie is confident that buyers will like both fillies, and she had the following to say about her charges:
Lot 15: f Erik The Red -Accidental Tourist
She is a first foal out of a 5 time winning Gimmethegreenlight mare. Even though she is a bit on the smaller side she is very well balanced, compact and strong. She is a very smart filly and should come on quick..
Lot 17: f Willow Magic -African Angel
She is out of a Mogok mare African Angel who is an own sister to G3 placed African Dream. She comes from a good female line where the fillies seems to be more prominent in their racing careers..
This filly is called Pink Lace and stands over ground.. Strong and well balanced. She will grow into a big solid filly as she matures.
These two fillies can be viewed from Block G at the Suncoast Casino in Durban.
