GREATERIX SIBLING TO STAR FOR MILLSTREAM FARM

Two-year-old Greaterix looks to be a horse with a very bright future ahead of him. Third, on debut, in the Listed HKJC World Pool Event 6 April Storm Bird Stakes, the Vercingetorix colt made a big impression on his next subsequent outing when Greaterix romped home to win a juvenile plate by nearly five and a quarter lengths. With a classic pedigree, Greaterix looks set for bigger and better things in the months ahead.

Millstream Farm are delighted to be offering a full-brother (Lot 320) to this exciting prospect at the 2024 National Yearling Sale. The colt in question is a son of outstanding sire Vercingetorix and the stakes placed, Jet Master mare Semra. Semra hails from the famed “E” family and her numerous high-class relatives include such champions as Empress Club, Ecurie, Escoleta Fitz and Elusive Fort to name but a few.

Millstream will be offering some exceptionally well bred Vercingetorix yearlings at this year’s National Sale, including a three-parts brother (Lot 166) to Listed Jacaranda Handicap winner Seehaam, a colt (Lot 272) out of G3 Pretty Polly Stakes vixen Palace Of Dreams, and a filly (Lot 376) from the immediate family of multiple champion Australian sire I Am Invincible.

Other attractive prospects to be found in this consignment include the What A Winter colt (Lot 118) out of G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas runner up Driving Miss Daisy, and the Rafeef (Lot 157) out of G1 Golden Slipper winner, Gilded Minaret. The latter, like Driving Miss Daisy, was runner up in the Cape Fillies Guineas of her year.

This draft can be found in Block B at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
