The Heuningsfontein Stud will be bringing a small, but smart, string to this year’s August Two Year Old Sale. Their consignment is made up of a colt by Willow Magic, two yearlings by Skitt Skizzle and a filly by the beautifully bred Summa Cum Laude.
Leon Lotz likes what he sees in his draft for the August Sale, and had the following comments to make about his string:
Lot 10: Bounce And Bells c Willow Magic – Vision To Kill
Typical sprinter, short coupled very good shoulder and hind quarters. Looks like his dam, who was Group 1 placed.
Lot 72: Sprinkles Sky c Skitt Skizzle – Celebration
A well balanced, good size, strong colt. Another serious race horse produced by the dam. The full brother ran one length off a horse nominated for the Champions Cup not having a clear run. He placed 3 times for as many starts.
Lot 82: Mind Freeze f Skitt Skizzle – Chit Chat
First foal of five time winning Pathfork mare, she is a half sister to two Group 1 performers. This filly has a striking resemblance to her dam. Very strong with good hind quarters.
Lot 227: Miss River Dancer f Summa Cum Laude – My Dream Chaser
A plain filly, late foal, very racy, difficult to fault her, very good legs and perfect temperament. The sire is from one of the best damlines in the book.
This draft can be found in Block A at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
