Cornerstone Stud will be offering a trio of yearlings, each sired by a G1 winning stallion, at this year’s National Yearling Sale.
Perhaps the standout lot in Cornerstone’s National draft, is Future Knight (Lot 151), a colt by former Horse Of The Year and promising young sire Futura. This well bred colt is a half-brother to 3 winners, notably this season’s G1 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate winner, and National Sale graduate, Jet Dark, and further back, this is the family of international superstars Peintre Celebre and Stradivarius to name but two.
Dubawi’s G1 winnng son Willow Magic has also made a promising start to his stud career and he is represented here by a colt (Lot 179) whose dam is a full-sister to Syringa Handicap second Saucy Savannah and half-sister to G1 GommaGomma Challenge winner Pick Six.
The cleverly named US Open (Lot 300), a colt by yet another exciting G1 winning stallion in the form of The United States, is a half-brother to five winners including the smart performers Tallinn and Tiptol, and his granddam is none other than former champion, and G1 Bloodline Classic heroine, Kundalini.
Cornerstone’s full draft for the 2021 National Yearling Sale, which takes place at the TBA complex on April 15th and 16th, can be viewed online at www.bsa.co.za
