There is no doubt that Equus Champion Winchester Mansion is one of the more high-profile horses in training in South Africa at the moment. The son of Trippi stamped his claim to fame when he won the 2023 G1 Hollywoodbets Durban July, where Winchester Mansion accounted for such stars as See It Again, Bless My Stars, Do It Again, Rain In Holland, and Winchester Mansion’s G1 winning close relative Trip Of Fortune.
Subsequently an eye catching fourth in the G1 Allied Steelrode-Onamission Charity Mile, Winchester Manion looks to be a lively contender for the upcoming G1 Betway Summer Cup.
Macrath, as Agent, will be offering a filly (Lot 61), called Paradisi Mo, from the same family as the aforementioned G1 winners Winchester Mansion and Trip Of Fortune at this year’s November Two Year Old Sale. A daughter of Uncle Mo horse Royal Mo, Paradisi Mo a full-sister to a winner and half-sister to two other winners, also hails from the family of G1 Queen’s Plate winning filly Wainui and G1 Computaform Sprint winner Rodoille.
This draft also includes Betty Mo (Lot 48), a Royal Mo half-sister to the very smart galloper Oyster King, and Pyro Edition (Lot 136), an Erupt half-brother to Listed WSB.co.za Irridescence Stakes runner up Miss Marguerite.
Macrath’s three two-year-olds can be viewed from Block B at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
Henham Stud will also be represented at the 2023 November Two Year Old Sale. The farm will be offering a single colt at this year’s sale, but he is definitely one to watch. Already named That’s All Brother (Lot 106), this chestnut shares his sire William Longsword with the likes of Dyce, Remember When, Itsrainingwilliam, Melech and Back In Business, while his dam Fly All Day is a full-sister to G1 Golden Slipper winner All Afire.
The aforementioned colt can be viewed from Block B at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
