With this draft including yearlings sired by the likes of Gimmethegreenlight, Querari, Vercingetorix and What A Winter, and hailing from the families of such champions as Capetown Noir, Captain’s Lover, National Currency, Russet Air and Tempting Fate, to name a few, Lammerskraal look set to make a big impression at the 2024 National Sale.

Lot 11: Xstream c Vercingetorix -Viva Maria, by Jet Master
He is by Vercingetorix out of Gr1 Woolavington winner Viva Maria and is thus a half brother to Sovereign Spirit (SW and third in the Met) and stakes placed Silver Maria. He is a big, athletic, attractive colt and looks the part. I expect him to attract a lot of interest.
Lot 8: Captain Querari c Querari -Varsity Lover, by Var
This colt by Querari is a showstopper, a beautiful almost black colt with a great presence and walk. Not to be missed.
Lot 47: Alpine Jet f Vercingetorix -Aquila Jet, by Jet Master
She is a super filly by Vercingetorix out of Jet Master mare Aquila Jet. She is big and strong and should be precocious, she hails from one of Lammerskraals best female lines.
Lot 152: Final Call f What A Winter -Furina, by Parade Leader
She is a What a Winter own/half sister to Fabian and Future Variety. A very attractive filly with a big hindquarter and an unmistakeable face she should be much in demand by buyers and breeders alike.
Lot 235 Mighty Mary f Querari -Mary Hinge, by Second Empire
She is an own sister to Gr2 winner  Maryah and half to Mary O, Fillies Guineas runner up. A good sized, attractive and athletic filly from a good Australian female line.
