Legacy Stud (Pty) Ltd will be bringing a classy quartet of two-year-olds to the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale. This string is made up of lots sired by all of Global View, Heavenly Blue, Twice Over and the always popular What A Winter.
The latter, whose daughters include such top-class performers as Clouds Unfold, Winter Cloud, Magical Wonderland and 2024 G1 Ridgemont Garden Province Stakes winner Humdinger, is represented here by a filly (Lot 215) out of the four time winner Minds Eye. A daughter of Visionaire, Minds Eye is a half-sister to both Listed Goldfields Sprint winner Fakazi, herself dam of top-class racemare Perfect Witness, and G1 SA Classic winner Love Struck.
Galileo horse Global View has had a good year thanks to his G1 Hollywoodbets Gold Challenge/G1 The HKJC Champions Cup winning son Dave The King, and Global View is represented in this draft by a colt (Lot 262) whose dam Regal Graduation is a five time winning half-sister to both Listed Nkosazana Stakes winner Royal Trip and to G1 H F Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes runner up Copper Mountain. Further back, this is the family of champion Kiss Of Peace and the likes of Kilindini and Harry Hotspur.
Hidden Power is a daughter of outstanding sire Dynasty from the family of such stars as champion Promisefrommyheart, Triple Crown winner Malmoos and top-class sire Master Of My Fate, and she has a Heavenly Blue colt (Lot 155) on offer. Safe to say, this is a colt with a classic pedigree!
Last, but certainly not least, is the Twice Over filly (Lot 271) out of smart racemare Run For Revelry. The latter, a five time winner who ran second in the Listed Supreme Fillies And Mares Stakes, is a half-sister to top-class performer Run For It, runner up in all of the G1 Vodacom Durban July, G1 Bloodstock SA Cape Guineas and G1 Daily News 2000.
These four two-year-olds can be found in Block A at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
